Robert's Dream For 2020

Robert F. Smith, is the founder of The Kindness Walk. It was inspired by his non-profit

organization, “The Little Green Apples Project,” and the mission is to inspire others to do intentional acts of kindness.

(Throughout this website you will see some of Robert’s successes.)

The Kindness

Walk all started because Robert, although totally blind, did not want to be limited by the Intentional Acts of Kindness he could do. This last year Robert helped make it possible for a a service dog to be trained specifically for a child with severe autism and diabetes. Robert also passed out over 500 sock puppets to schools, communities centers and hospitals. Last but not least Robert did
free concerts for our Veterans. Robert is  determined to do more this year thru the state of Tennessee by walking 1,000,000 more steps.

Robert hasn’t allowed blindness to be an obstacle. He has perfect vision of the heart and this has caused him to make a difference in the world around him. Robert will begin his journey of over 350 miles starting on

September 6, 2020 to October 1, 2020.

(The latter date may change after our pre-trip in March.) Robert will walk from The Grand Ole Opry to Dollywood. Robert has organized a good team of people to assist him and more are coming forward each day.

Each step of Robert’s journey will be to

accomplish the following: Recognize Veterans in every town or city he travels

through with an American Flag that was created by Veterans. (FlagsOfValor.com)

(Robert will pass thru 30 towns and cities.)

In addition, Robert is reaching out to individuals with disabilities and children with life-threatening

challenges. We would be delighted if you would join us in our efforts.

“Even a blind man can see that one act of

kindness makes the world a better place…and that world begins with you”

The Kindness Walk 2018 Recap - October 19, 2018 to November 20, 2018. Robert walked 450 miles and took over 1,400,000 steps to inspire others to do Intentional Acts of Kindness. During his walk he raised funds needed to get a service dog to meet the needs a little boy who had severe autism and diabetes. In addition, he honored Veterans in towns and cities he traveled thru. To complete his mission he reached out to people with disabilities and children with life-threatening challenges.

The Kindness Walk 2020 - September 6, 2020, Robert will begin his second Kindness Walk from The Grand Ole Opry to Dollywood. As mentioned throughout this website, Robert will be walking and raising funds for our First Responders and kids with life-threatening challenges. It is Robert’s intention to share his message with the great state of Tennessee. Who knows maybe a few Country Western Stars will join Robert to support our First Responders, and kids with life-threatening challenges.

  - Distribution of 1,000 Games and 2,000 Sock Puppets. Before the Christmas holidays of 2019. Everyone can participate in this event as these are going to our First Responders and their families, non-profit groups, schools, churches etc. You assist by donating or  sponsoring to this event. As Robert passes thru the communities in Tennessee, he will continue to pass out the Doopalpoops  Puppets With a purpose. Contact us today if you would like to be involved or participate.

  - The World Series Toss To Target Game Tournament. (Dates to be determined) Robert wants to enlist non-profits to try our first        World Series Tournament as we cross Tennessee. Robert believes by having the kids involved, he passes on the message of doing      Intentional Acts of Kindness. The tournaments are great, but the best part...Every child would share an intentional act of kindness

they are going to do or have already accomplished. As you are reading this, why not help Robert accomplish this. We are waiting      for you to join us.

  - The Best Gift Of All This Christmas Song Debut. Robert and some of his closest friends, created a song that was originally

written by the famous Les Baxter. It was song that wasn't totally completed and the song was lost for many years; so with the help of      a few of Robert's friends, a few months later the song was recorded in the original Beach Boy's Studio. The song kept the magic of        the time it was originally written, and with added words, it shares an intentional act of kindness....the giving of our love. You will be          able to purchase and down-load this song to help support our First Responders. It makes a great Christmas gift also.
